Lauren is now 16 years old. She has cerebral palsy and I have been working with her for the past couple of years now. She sparked my love for Disney World last year when I was able to join her family on her Make a Wish trip to Walt Disney World!
We celebrated Lauren's 16th birthday earlier this month. We punctuated our celebration for this precious teenager with a party fit for a celebrity!

Lauren went on a Make a Wish trip back in October of 2008. I went with them and did a lot of the pre-planning for that trip (they are just really busy to be able to add Disney planning to their daily schedule). As I was planning, I found the www.disboards.com website. They have a community of Wish Families that were planning trips at the same time I was. I joined that friendly group and am still a member of that group. I have met 3 Wish Families in Disney in person and "met" many online. We still plan trips for wish kids going to Disney in future months.
And I get to read the reports after they come back, too.
